Start with the households staying overnight
The main estate supplies accommodation for up to 16 overnight guests. The optional basement supplies space for up to 5 more, giving a maximum of 21. A family of 20 needs the basement. Confirm the current room and bed arrangement with the host before assigning spaces.
- Collect names and overnight counts by night, including children.
- Ask which sleeping spaces work for couples, children and older relatives.
- Share any stairs, mobility or bathroom questions before booking.
Make shared meals easy to coordinate
The main estate has a stocked full kitchen, dining area and shared lounge. Everyday cookware, pots, pans and utensils are available; check specialized equipment and serving quantities before planning a large meal. The basement adds another kitchen, dining area and lounge.
- Choose one grocery coordinator and collect dietary requirements.
- Divide meal preparation and cleanup between households.
- Plan morning routines around 2 main-estate full bathrooms, with 1 full and 1 half bathroom added by the basement.
Give everyone room in the weekend
Private shared spaces, outdoor grounds, board games, arcade activities, BBQ and the firepit allow different generations to enjoy time together. Check weather and safe-use conditions with the host. Use Explore Caledon for trails, farms and dining; confirm seasonal access directly.
- Leave space for quiet time as well as one shared activity.
- Consider multiple nights so arrivals and departure do not dominate the visit.
- Bring weather-appropriate clothing and coordinate vehicles without assuming a fixed parking capacity.
A reunion dinner has its own attendance count
A relative coming for lunch is a day visitor, even if they do not stay overnight. Count everyone on the property each day, including visitors and vendors. Additional attendance charges do not add beds. Any gathering needs disclosure and host approval.
- Send dates, overnight counts and maximum daily attendance.
- Include basement choice, vehicles and the reunion plan.
- Confirm the final quote, booked spaces and reservation terms before collecting household payments.
Coordinate an Ontario family visit
Collect arrivals from each household, including relatives travelling from elsewhere in Ontario. Compare the estate with the locations you will visit in Brampton and the GTA, coordinate groceries and cars, and leave time for different family routines. Transport is arranged separately; no fixed drive time is promised.
- Share the actual estate and destination addresses.
- Confirm the room layout and accessibility needs before booking.
- Send overnight and visitor counts for each day.
Next steps for your plan
An inquiry does not reserve dates or approve an event. The host confirms availability, requirements and pricing.
